Ok, so I have been a completely horrible blogger, but I am going to make up for it now!! Ryan left to go to West Helena, Arkansas for work. He is supposed to be gone for 10 months, but we aren't sure exactly how long he will be gone quite yet. He left on April 10th and then we went to visit on the 21st. We were there from Wednesday until Tuesday. We flew because it is an 8 hour drive and I wasn't willing to do that with a 1 year old by myself!!
Waiting to take off on his first plane ride ever!!

Looking out of the plane window. Not long after this he put his head back and fell asleep for the entire plane ride!!! It was G-R-E-A-T!!
Excuse the nunnie....he usually isn't allowed to have it unless he is going to sleep but on the plane you can have ANYTHING you want as long as you behave! :-)
On Saturday, we headed to back to Memphis because Ryan got rained out at work.
We went to Graceland. I was so excited!!!
Cullen and Daddy waiting to go in the house.
Don't ask why my child is making this "cheese" face, but it is pretty funny!
I can only imagine how all of this white would look like if it were my family living there!!

The jungle family and play room. This was a really neat room.
This room was absolutely amazing. It honestly took my breath away when I walked in. This is only one wall of it, but all 4 walls looked this way. It is unbelievable.

The Lisa Marie plane....one of the 2 planes he had. The inside was definitely dated, but you could tell that it was pretty fashionable for the time period!
I was really excited to be able to experience Graceland. It was a really neat place and Daddy was excited to tour the car and motorized toy collection. We can mark that off our "bucket list!"
On the way back to the camper Daddy's driving became a little rough, so Cullen put on Daddy's hard hat to make sure he was safe!!

On Sunday, we headed to the Zoo!
1 of the 10 gift shops on the park grounds. I liked the way they had his signature on the wall.
It was unbelievable how many gift shops they had....how many different things can you have with Elvis' name on it????

On Sunday, we headed to the Zoo!
We had read that it was voted the #1 zoo in the U.S. so we were pretty excited to go.
I think Daddy had more fun than Cullen and I combined. It definitely was an awesome zoo though!

Cullen and Daddy looking at the ducks. He was most amazed by all of the animals that we either have on our property or are within a mile from us!!
The big rhinoceros. I was waiting for her to knock this zoo member off of the fence. She came pretty close a couple of times.

The huge elephants!
Her wrinkles make me grateful that my wrinkles won't ever get this bad!!!

Cullen got tired so Daddy put him on his shoulders....then he stole his hat!

The orangutan...she was so sad. They had a few kids that were teasing her with their candy. It was really sad.

The polar bear....YES a polar bear. Across the hall from him were the seals, and the penguins were next door!!!!

We were at the zoo for almost 5 hours, and when I looked back to make sure Cullen was strapped in I found this.....

We had an awesome time and were so glad to be able to spend some time with Daddy. Cullen and I did have a lot of bonding time due to the fact that we aren't in a very good part of town. We were not allowed to leave the RV park without Ryan, so it made for a few very long days!! Trying to contain a 1 year old in a fifth wheel can get a little tricky. Needless to say, our next trip was from Friday to Monday! :-)
