My 10 year reunion & a weekend with Ryan

In August I had my 10 year high school reunion. I was just pregnant enough to not fit in my normal clothes but maternity was still weird looking too. I finally found something the day before after thousands of attempts!

Right before I left for the reunion

Cullen wanted no part in the pictures...he was watching something on tv and did not want to be bothered!!

Erica, Amy, and myself. <3 these two!

The reunion was fun and it was nice to see some faces that I hadn't seen in almost 10 years. I guess we shall try it again in another 10!!

The next weekend we went to meet Ryan at work. He was working between Nachitoches and Shreveport, so we drove out to meet him Saturday and came home Monday. We met for dinner in Natchitoches and walked around the lake across the street from the restaurant.

Walking to the lake.

No telling what they saw

Cullen was too excited to sit in the big tree!

Sunday after Ryan got off of work we headed to Shreveport to a place that was pretty close to Celebration Station or Kart Ranch. Cullen had a ton of fun, but it was BEYOND hot.

Riding the go karts...we had to fib a little about his age. He met the height requirement but they said he had to be 4 to ride....he became 4! :-)

And the bumper boats...I had to sit out on all the rides because I am pregnant, but that just let me take more pictures!

Putt Putt Golf was quite interesting. Cullen has one mode...baseball!! It was quite possibly the funniest thing I have ever seen. I laughed more than I had in a while!

He tried it a few holes and then he decided that putt putt golf was for the birds. He laid his golf club down and ventured off to the bridge in the middle of the course.

We had a lot of fun and were excited to be able to spend some time with Ryan, so it was a great weekend.

July Birthday celebration and July 4th

In July we celebrated our July birthdays. Mrs. Brenda and Jake are both at the beginning of July so we grilled some steaks at the house and hung out. I found out I was pregnant a week or two before so I decided to let Cullen share the news with everyone when he gave Mrs. Brenda her present.

I made him this shirt for him to wear.

Mrs. Brenda just read his shirt.

Reading her card. She got a great birthday gift this year.

The kids were playing football and we had a little incident.

After a little TLC and a trip to the pharmacy for materials it was determined that he would make it!

Every year we have July 4th at our house and have everyone over. Brandie's kids spent the night with us the night before so they could be ready to go first thing in the morning.

Wyatt, Ryan, Cullen, Megan, and Katelyn...pretty sure they were supposed to be helping me set things up!!

Nanny Cheryl brought the kid sized slide for the little ones.

Julien going down the water slide.

Cullen driving E'lise around on the gator.

Everyone hanging out.

Cullen sliding into the water.

Our family...excuse Cullen!!

Ryan and the boys having way to much fun at the end of the day

It was a fun day and as always, and we can't wait until next years!

Cajun Heartland State Fair & All Star Baseball

We had a pretty fun summer this past summer. We stayed really busy, but we wouldn't have had it any other way!!

In May we have the Cajun Heartland State Fair in Lafayette, so we headed over there the Saturday night with Heidi and Adam to watch the concert and ride a few rides.

Cullen wanted to ride the ferris wheel, so we headed that direction. Ryan and Adam were not big fans of the whole idea, but they were troopers. I am not afraid of heights and I usually love roller coasters and all things of the nature.....EXCEPT THIS TIME!! We got on the ferris wheel and went around one time. That is when we noticed how bad the wind was and just how close the coming storm was to us. Obviously, the guy running the ferris wheel got the memo and he started unloading it.....right AFTER he passed our cart. It got pretty scary for a minute but we survived it. Cullen now wants no part of any ferris wheel anywhere!

Heidi and Adam....he's already closing his eyes!

The Richard Family...before the madness!

He realized I was taking his picture and looked up and smiled. Otherwise he had his head burried. I will not lie...I did get worried for little bit. I really thought at any minute the thing was going to crash to the ground!!

Cullen driving the 18 wheelers...from the back!

This race car whipped those kids around that corner like no other, but he loved it.

Driving again!

He and Daddy rode the big slide....plenty of times!

Motorcycle dude

Wyatt and Julien both played baseball this past season and they were both selected to play on their divisions All Star teams. Wyatt is in his 2nd year of T-Ball and Julien in his 2nd year of Coach pitch. Most of their tournaments were at the same place. There were a few times that they were different but overall it was pretty easy to attend both teams games! This occupied every weekend in June, but it was really fun. I've learned that I get way more competitive than I should!! :-)

Cullen was worn out. This was the last game on Sunday and it had a been a long, scorching weekend.

Julien at the end of the weekend!

Those kids were troopers. They played game after game in the scorching heat and they did absolutely wonderful. I'm sure we will do it all over again next year!

Easter and Disney on Ice

April was eventful for us. We had Easter and then the next week we had Disney on Ice with Bella.

The Saturday before Easter we had Granny, Uncle Steve, Uncle Pat, Bella, and the Gaudin family over to the house to have dinner. Sunday was going to be a busy day so we decided to relax and....yes, you guessed it....BBQ!!

Cullen driving Jaxson around on his gator. I don't think Jaxson was prepared for his driving!

The gang just hanging out

Snacking

They parked and played in the gravel pit for a little while.

Later that night we dyed Easter eggs for Easter Sunday...Cullen had a blast!

He thought it was the coolest thing!

Bella helping and Daddy reading the directions..

Doing it his way!!

Showing the camera what his eggs looked like.

Easter morning we woke up to find what the Easter Bunny had brought Cullen.

Eating candy first thing in the morning....it is what you do on Easter, right??

He got a bubble maker, so he and Daddy went outside and he chased bubbles.

No matter how close he got it would pop before he got it. Poor baby!

His turn to blow bubbles for Daddy to chase!

That next week Bella came back into town and we headed to Disney on Ice. I don't know who was the most excited Cullen, Bella, or myself! It was really fun.

Bella and Cullen before it all began.

Cullen and Mom....not sure why my eyes look so crazy!

There they are!

April was eventful, but great and lots of memories were made!!
