Super Bowl 44

Unless you have been hiding under a rock for the past couple of days, you know that the New Orleans Saints have won Super Bowl 44. The first time in franchise history. Mom came into town on Saturday and met Uncle Pat here. They ventured off to New Orleans early Sunday morning. I would have LOVED to attend, but had a child, husband, and a job to see about!! :-) We went to Jacques and Lauren's that night to watch the game and eat ENTIRELY too much food.

We had a lot of fun and were so excited to watch history in the making. I am also happy to say that the New Orleans visitors made it back to their homes safe and sound!! I can't even imagine how much fun they had!!

Katelyn's 8th Birthday

Katelyn turns 8 on February 13th, but we had her party a little early due to the Mardi Gras holiday coming up this weekend. She had a "Peace" Party, and we played pin the peace sign nose on the smiley face and Peace Bingo. She invited the family and 5 of her friends from school over. Brandie, for some odd reason, decided to let her invite the friends to sleep over that night! By the end of the party I wished her well on her journey and we RAN out of the door!!!

Trip to Texas

Friday afternoon we loaded up with Aunt Amanda and rode to Texas for one of my friends baby shower. We enlightened Aunt Amanda about car rides to Texas with a little one!! :-)
